RTD hosted holiday station events to thank customers and spread cheer

RTD held seven “Holiday Happenings” customer appreciation events during November and December.

Customers who used RTD services during November and December might have noticed RTD staff spreading holiday cheer and handing out candy canes during the Holiday Happenings events. RTD hosted the holiday events at the following stations in the district:

• Olde Town Arvada Station
• Peoria Station
• Union Station (Light Rail side)
• I-25•Broadway Station
• Civic Center Station
• Downtown Boulder Station
• Union Station (Commuter Rail side)

RTD’s Community Engagement division hosted the events with the support of staff from across the agency. RTD’s team enjoyed spreading joy with simple messages such as “Happy Holidays” and “Thanks for riding.” RTD engaged with over 1,100 people through the Holiday Happenings events, and the team will be doing more events in 2024.
